Hearty Soups
I like soups any time of the year, and I especially like that it can be a one pot meal . I like adding beans for protein- kidney and white beans are my favorite. I also add lots of different veggies to get in a variety of nutrients as well as fiber. My go to veggies are: spinach, celery, carrot, potato, green beans, tomato and broccoli.

Grow Your Food
Hard work yields great results, well, most of the time! The same is true for planting, maintaining and harvesting your own produce. A lot of work especially goes into the maintaining part, but in the end you can have produce that you can say that you grew, how awesome! Even if you don't have a yard or much growing space, you can still grow your own herbs like basil, cilantro and thyme to add fresh flavor to your meals!

Eat your Veggies 🥗
Salads are versatile and a great way to add veggies, fiber and color to your diet. I like to add fresh fruit like mango, strawberry or blueberries for texture and sweetness. I add nuts or seeds for protein and a crunch! How often do you eat salads throughout the week?
