Mango Season


The mango is commonly known as the "king of fruit" due to its abundance of nutrients.

Mangoes are a great source of vitamin C (antioxidant), carotenoids (vitamin A- eye health), fiber, vitamins and minerals.

Get them while they are sweet, juicy and in season!

Mango Avocado Salsa

Ingredients:

2 ripe mango, chopped

1/2 ripe avocado, chopped

1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced

1/2 cup red onion, chopped

1 small jalapeno, diced (or less)

Handful of cilantro, chopped

1/2-1 lime (the juice)

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a bowl, season to taste.
