Sweeten With Dates

Dates are often used as a natural sweetener for smoothies, pie fillings, and cakes.

Since I use an unsweetened protein powder I add 2-3 dates to my smoothies for a touch of sweetness.

Dates are also a good source of fiber and is a quick source of energy.
