DIY Seasonings
In celebration of this year National Nutrition Month's theme, "Savor the Flavor," challenge yourself to make your own seasonings!
If you look at the ingredients of some common seasonings, like taco or cajun seasonings, you may see "fillers" like anti-caking agents (silicon dioxide), MSG, sugar, modified food starch, and even milk by-products.
When you make your own seasonings, you know exactly what it contains, plus you can adjust the flavors to your preference.
