Does Water Help You Lose Weight?
Water is not a magic potion for weight loss, but research has shown that those who lack proper hydration have a higher chance of being overweight/obese. Research has also found that those who drink water before their meals are able to maintain their weight or lose weight.
In the short term of course this does not prove that staying hydrated helps you lose weight, but hydration is important for overall health.
Staying hydrated with water instead of sugar sweetened drinks is an ideal choice for limiting excess calorie intake. And how do you know if you are hydrated? Look at your pee! The lighter your pee, the more hydrated you are.
So stay hydrated and stay healthy!
